1
Jay “Cap’n” Z. Captain Jay enjoys the sea life, as you can probably tell from his physique. He definitely is a bit more plump around the hips 😉
2
Sef the “Sailor”. The real captain of the ship…
3
Our very advanced steering wheel. Makes dodging icebergs a cinch!
4
The best ship you can ever ask for. No splinters, very low maintenance and when you need a break: just lay down a towel and catch some sun near the refreshing water.
5
A very multi-purpose sail. Provides some nice shade during our long trips and when your thirsty: just climb up and grab a refreshing coconut. Cheerz!
6
The “braking system”
7
DiCaprio killers. Avoid at all costs.

I ‘m absolutely terrible at remembering “special” dates. The only birth date I can seem to retain is my brother’s.

On more than one occasion I’ve shown up to work on a holiday, all the while wondering why it was so quiet on the way there…
So it was no real surprise to me that my mother had to remind me that it was my little nephews birthday the next day. He had recently visited us and I felt inspired to create a birthday drawing. A bit under the gun, I spend that afternoon and evening creating a themed scene based upon a captain and his mate. We had been role-playing you see 🙂

I love my little nephew. He’s always playing and using his imagination.
Our children teach us, not the other way around.

When things get too serious in your life, take a break and simply observe children playing. Remind yourself what is truly important.
