W hen I was in my teens, I dreamt up a story about a Hippocrite named Jay and his “friends”. Jay is a bit of a narcissist and very good at manipulating the people around him to get what he wants.
When I started my drawing endeavor, I also tried to give this original idea a bit of life. For a while I really put some effort into this. I created a backstory, a cast of characters and an entire story arc for Jay to emotionally grow through. Eventually, I let it go. The idea of my own webcomic was cool and all, but ultimately I’m not confinced this is the thing for me to focus on. I have the utmost respect for comic artists, because it takes so much time & effort to create just a single page for your reading and viewing pleasure. Anyway, I did end up creating one finished drawing with Jay and some of his friends.
